Dana Coester is a professor at the WVU Reed College of Media and creative director for the College’s Media Innovation Center. Coester also serves as editor in chief for the collaborative media outlet 100 Days in Appalachia.
Sam Taylor is an assistant director at the WVU Energy Institute. He is focused on development of major research investments and initiatives that can leverage the cross-cutting strengths and partnerships of WVU to high-impact research outcomes. Through those efforts, he is engaged in development of faculty research support and program development for aligned energy faculty.
Dr. Shikha Sharma is a professor of geology and the director of the IsoBioGeM Laboratory at West Virginia University.
Dr. Liu began his professional career at WVU as a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2000, and joined the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering as a faculty member in 2002. He became a full Professor in August 2014 and was appointed as Statler Endowed Chair of Engineering in 2018. Dr. Liu also served as the Associate Chair for Research within the Department from 2012 to 2019.
Dr. Kasson received his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the Pennsylvania State University where his research focused on using a native fungus, Verticillium nonalfalfae, as a biological control of the invasive tree, Ailanthus altissima (tree-of-heaven). He also holds an A.A.S. from Paul Smiths College and a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Maine.
As a social marketing and public policy researcher, Dr. Cook uses a variety of approaches to address the following three primary streams of research: (1) Health and Financial Well-Being; (2) Consumer Collaboration and Competition; and (3) Social Responsibility.
